“ Very well acted and interestingly presented but ultimately rather baffling production. Other than a vague anti-war message was not sure what this play or rather an anthology was aiming at. Bits of Shakespeare and Euripedes cobbled together with other bits of drama that I was unable to identify and the occassional popular song thrown in for good measure made me think of the Joan Littlewood production "Oh What A Lovely War" but whereas that was disciplined and focussed concentrating on the First World War and using the popular songs of the era to make its satirical and very potent message about the futility and horror of war "Remember Me" just didn't seem to know where it was going. Having said that glad I went and was a really enjoyable evening particularly discussing the play afterwards in the pub. Many thanks Rob for organising this. ”
