Come along on Tuesday 15th December for an evening Christmas concert in St Paul's Cathedral!
This concert features Christmas carols performed by the Cathedral Choir and the City of London Orchestra, plus readings by a few celebrities, all in the atmospheric St Pauls' Cathedral.
The event starts at 6:30pm and finishes at about 8pm & is completely free! The only downside is that it's very popular, so you need to get there early. I'm aiming to get in the queue by 5:30pm, so when you get to the Cathedral, you will need to find me in the queue (I will be holding up a Cultureseekers Group sign).
Afterwards, we will head to The Albion pub (2-3 Bridge Street) for a few drinks, click here for a map...
The nearest tube station to the cathedral itself is St Pauls (Central Line). The queue to get in, could be from the main entrance (up the steps) or an entrance on the left side of the building.
Hope to see you there. If you can't see us, please give me a call.
“ Thanks Robert for all the effort and whilst we did not get in - I enjoyed meeting new people in the queue. Like Jenny - I lost you. I got my drink at the Albion and then could not find. Merry Christmas everyone and see you in the New Year. ”
“ It was fun hanging out at the The Crown & Sugarloaf on Bride Lane after waiting futilely on-line at St. Pauls. Back in the US now. Miss all my new London meet-up friends. Happy New Year! ”
“ Just a great pity we could not get in! But thanks to Robert for waiting in the queue and trying for all of us...!
Then I lost you all, was so busy taking photos!
