Come along on Saturday 27th February at 1pm to visit the Design Museum!
The Design Museum founded in 1989, covers product, industrial, graphic, fashion and architectural design.
The museum is housed in a former 1940s Banana warehouse, which was altered beyond recognition in the conversion to resemble a building in the International Modernist style of the 1930s.
The museum was principally designed by the Conran group. Terence Conran aided in this conversion, as it was his concept to create such a museum of Modern Design.
Entry to the museum is £8.50 each, but as it's a museum I managed to arrange a discount with, anyone who has paid their group membership fee will receive a 40% discount on entry (please bring your membership card).
The museum is located near Tower Bridge, so we will be meeting up at Tower Hill tube station, inside the station near the ticket barriers.
Afterwards we will be heading to the bar 'All Bar One' near the museum for a chat over a drink, click here for a map...
If you can't see us at the station, please call.
Hope to see you there!
Regards
Robert
