Come along on Saturday 7th November, meeting up at 1pm for a guided walk on 'The Magnificent Sir Christopher Wren'!
Sir Christopher Wren (1632 – 1723) was one of the best known and highest acclaimed English architects in history, responsible for rebuilding 55 churches in the City of London after the Great Fire in 1666, including his masterpiece St Paul's Cathedral, completed in 1710.
The walk is a private guided walk from City Sidewalks, where they will guide us round the streets of the city telling us more about Wren's life and seeing some of the beautiful churches he built.
Cost of the walk is £7 and lasts 2 hours. The walk finishes at St Paul's Cathedral.
We will be meeting at Bank Tube Station, inside the station, near the ticket barriers (Central Line). When you come through the ticket barriers, look out for the 'Cultureseekers' signs.
Afterwards, we will be heading to 'The Albion pub' at 2 New Bridge Street, click here for a map...
Hope to see you there.

I really enjoyed the Wren walk, which I found interesting. We finished at St Paul's Cathedral and I particularly liked the vantage point from where our guide ended her tour with us. No doubt I will retrace our steps - this time with my camera. We finished our Meet-Up at The Albion for a drink and chat with enjoyable company.
