Come along on Sunday 18th April at 12pm to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre to celebrate William Shakespeare's birthday!
The Globe theatre is holding a free open day to celebrate Shakespeare's 446th birthday and to celebrate St Georges Day (the patron saint of England).
There will be events and activities in and around the theatre from 12pm until 4pm. All will be free. I will update with more details about the events when they are released.
We will be meeting up London Bridge Tube Station at 12pm, inside the station, near the ticket barriers. The station is very busy, so head for the 'Tooley Street exit' and we will be waiting under the 'Tooley Street exit sign'.
At about 1:30/2pm, we can find somewhere nearby to the Globe to grab some lunch.
If you can't see us, please call.
Hope to see you there!
Regards
Robert

A bit more info about the Globe open day:
The day will be filled with musical mayhem as you create sound effects to the witches scene in Macbeth, go on a date with Henry VIII, sing-a-long to favourite tunes with Globe musicians, and even tread the boards of the famous Globe stage.
These exciting activities all take place in and around the world famous exhibition and theatre.
