Come along on Saturday 17th July at 1pm for a private guided walk called 'City Gardens'!
About the walk
The City of London, the World's leading financial centre, has a history going back almost 2000 years. Its buildings cover a range of architectural styles both old and ultra modern.
Tucked away amongst these buildings lies the City's REAL treasures : its gardens, churchyards and other sites whose history reaches back to the mists of time. Be fascinated by both the history and horticulture of these gems.
See how the Romans defensive wall has acquired a totally different role.
The walk starts at St Paul's tube station and finishes at Guildhall nearby. It lasts about 2 hours and costs £7 each.
We will be meeting at St Paul's tube station, inside the station, near the ticket barriers. Lookout for the 'Cultureseeker' sign.
Afterwards, we will head to a local pub or bar for a chat over a drink.
If you can't see us at the station please call.
Hope to see you there!
Regards
Robert
