'Jack the Ripper' Guided Walk (4pm walk)

Come along on Saturday 11th December at 1pm for a guided walk on 'Jack the Ripper'!

Due to demand, I've organised a second guide for a 4pm start. The walk is a private walk just for the group and lasts about 2 hours, finishing near Liverpool Street Tube Station. The cost is £7 per person.

A bit about the walk
Jack the Ripper was a notorious serial killer who struck between August and December 1888 around Whitechapel, East London.
He brutally murdered at least 5 prostitutes, but no one know's who he was!

Take a walk on the dark side of London back to the dingy East End streets and alleyways of Victorian Whitechapel.
Theories and suspects abound in the most famous unsolved case in history. See if you can crack it!


Afterwards we will head to a local pub for a chat over a drink.

    Hi I have just dropped out of the 1pm slot for myself and Paul (also a full member). If anyone wants to go at 1pm can they let me know. Going to be cheeky and pitch up at 4pm on the basis that out of the volume of people 2 people are sure to drop out due to it being Christmas. robert hope this is ok...I've sent you a text.

    Link to the 'From Hell' letter that the guide mentioned. The only letter that was likely sent by Jack the Ripper. It was sent with half a kidney in a small box.

    I was perhaps expecting too much as my sister had done this tour years ago and raved about it. The route taken was not that inspiring but there again there cannot be much difference although from photos the 1pm tour seemed more interesting. Regret that the Blue Badge guide did not really bring the tour to life. I do think that a lot hinges on the guide. Sorry to sound so negative

    Really enjoyed the walk and what an excellent guide! I was completely transfixed! The Ten Bells was the icing on the cake even if a bit crowded.
