Come along on Saturday 18th February at 1:45pm for a guided walk around South Kensington!
About the walk
Discover an area which was developed after the Great Exhibition of 1851. Find out where Eliza Doolittle sold flowers when she wasn’t in Covent Garden, discover some of London’s most elegant Victorian streets.
South Kensington has it all from grand museums to hidden mews and we see the area’s contrasting faces from the large scale to the intimate in this unusual walk.

The walk is a private walk for the group, we will split into 4 groups and we will be guided by Diane Burstein, Colin Street, Mary Sewell & Lucy McMurdo. It will last about 2 hours.
The cost for the guides is £7 per person for Full Member's of the group and £8 per person for non-Members. (payable on the day).
Afterwards we will head to a local pub for a chat over a drink.
If you can't see us at the station, please call.
Look out for the group sign -

Hope to see you there!
Regards

This sounds awesome, searching for these kind of events for ages!
is there a reserved list incase anyone pulls out. Is so could you pop my name onto it. Looks a very popular event!
Yes, if you RSVP now you will go onto the waiting list. I'm trying to get a 4th guide at the moment, so if we manage to get one, all those on the waiting list could then come along.
Hi my apologies but I'll be about 10 minutes late please don't leave without me

If you're interested in exploring London's history & culture with other like minded people, then this is the group for you!
We meetup 3-4 times a month to explore museums, art galleries, stately homes, historical buildings and go on guided walks. We also go to the theatre and see classic films at the cinema.
In the summer we also have day trips outside of the capital to explore historical towns surrounding London.
The group is very friendly, and a great place to meet people in London, attracting an average of 55 people per event, plus we always afterwards head to a local pub or cafe to chat.
The group charges an annual membership fee of £10 per person. Membership includes entry discounts at 20 museums & art galleries (details under the Sponsors tab above) across London that I've negotiated for the members of the group.
New members to the group can attend 2 events for free to see if they like it before that have to pay the membership fee.
Have a look at the page below to see what's coming up and where we have been! Cultureseekers is a brilliant place to make friends in London whilst experiencing some of the very best areas of culture and history which the city has to offer.
Feel free to email or text me if you have any questions or would like to suggest somewhere we can visit.
